OnSteel Oy’s fourth and so far largest investment and development project is progressing according to plan.
The investment program started in the autumn of 2021 and when it is completed, we will have a new medium-heavy machining line.
The line includes a new drill, a balancing machine, an overhead crane track and a carousel lathe. The line processes parts in the weight class 1-8 tons.
The first installations of the machine will start soon and in August we will already have a fair amount of new capacity.
Factory layout changes requiring installations have progressed as planned and space has been cleared for the machines.
The project is supported by the Central Finland ELY Center.
